On Monday, the political and government authorities of Ciego Ávila described the results of the communication campaign of the referendum on the Family Code, a law recently approved by a resounding majority, as effective and proficient.

Liván Izquierdo Alonso, Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Ciego de Ávila, warned that "defending ourselves and going on the offensive in matters of social communication is also a matter of national security."

The conscious vote of the majority of voters constitutes the main balance of the actions both in the media and in the popular councils, public spaces, graphic propaganda and messages and infographics through social networks.

The communication campaign for the referendum of the People's Power Government in Ciego de Ávila, implemented last June, focused its attention on calling the people to participate in such an important exercise of citizen rights.
