La UNE informa: Situación del SEN para el 4 de octubre de 2022

Yesterday, the service was affected due to a generation capacity deficit, although it was possible to serve the load between 02:25 and 09:32. The maximum impact during the night hours was 804 MW at 7:50 p.m., coinciding with the peak hour, of which 148 MW were due to the damage caused by Hurricane Ian.

Today, the service was restored at 00:19 hours. The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 1,815 MW and the demand is 1,813 MW, unaffected by the shortfall in generation capacity in the system. The affectation is 103 MW due to the damage caused by Hurricane Ian.

A maximum impact of 400 MW is estimated due to a deficit in generation capacity during daytime hours.

Units 6 and 7 of CTE Mariel, CTE Otto Parellada unit, CTE Nuevitas unit 4, CTE Felton unit 2 and CTE Rente units 4 and 6 are out of service due to breakdowns. . Unit 3 of the CTE Rente is undergoing maintenance. Limitations on thermal generation (352 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,103 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 673 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of 154 MW in diesel engines is estimated.

With this forecast, an availability of 2019 MW and a maximum demand of 2,700 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 681 MW, so if the forecast conditions continue, an affectation of 751 MW is forecast at this time, of them 90 MW for the damage caused by Hurricane Ian.

All consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.
