The Belarusian Ministry of Health published this Wednesday a note on the arrival in the European country of the Cuban vaccine against covid-19 Sovereign Plus, from the Finlay Institute of Vaccines, for the treatment of the Belarusian population.

The website of the Foreign Ministry of that country also published a note about the registration by its regulatory agency of the Sovereign 02 vaccine, highlights the Finlay Institute on its Twitter account.

In July of this year, several Belarusian institutions and the BioCubaFarma Business Group signed a memorandum of understanding for the scientific-technological development of both countries.

The Cuban ambassador to Belarus, Santiago Pérez, affirmed this Wednesday that the Belarusian press has highlighted that Cuban vaccines have demonstrated their effectiveness against coronavirus infection in a clinical study.
