The Electric Union estimates an availability of 2,141 MW for the night peak hour and a maximum demand of 3,080 MW, with a deficit of 939 MW, so if the forecasts are maintained, an affectation of 1,009 MW is expected in this schedule.

Units 6 and 7 of the Mariel thermoelectric plant, the Otto Parellada unit, 3 of Santa Cruz, 4 of Nuevitas, 2 of Felton and 5 of Renté are out of service due to breakdowns.

The UNE reports that unit 2 of the Santa Cruz thermoelectric plant, 5 of Nuevitas, 1 of Felton and 3 of Renté are under maintenance.

For the night peak hours, the input of unit 3 of the Santa Cruz thermoelectric plant is estimated, with 58 MW, the input of 5 de la Renté, with 80 MW, and the input of 106 MW in diesel engines.

A maximum impact of 700 MW is estimated due to a deficit in generation capacity during daytime hours.

The limitations in thermal generation are 314 MW.

In distributed generation, 1,028 MW are not available due to failure and 732 MW due to maintenance.

The maximum impact on Tuesday night was 1,151 MW at 7:10 p.m., coinciding with peak hour. Of these, 49 MW for the damage caused by Hurricane Ian.

Service was restored at 2:45 a.m. this Wednesday and at 5:35 a.m.

The service began to be affected again due to a generation capacity deficit.
