The Máximo Gómez Báez University of Ciego de Ávila holds its twenty-sixth Festival of Amateur Artists at the faculties’ level and in salute to the centenary of the Federation of University Students (FEU).

The Faculties of Pedagogical Sciences and the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences were the first to compete, the latter with an organic show that weaved its drama from the story of Alice in Wonderland.

Kevin Marcos Delgado Álvarez, President of the FEU in Humanities, explained that the conception of the staging allowed the integration of all artistic manifestations and their diversity of expressions.

For the competition at the university level, amateurs from the Faculties of Agricultural Sciences, Economic Sciences, Physical Culture and Sports, Computer Science and Exact Sciences are also integrated.
