The Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Ciego de Ávila evaluated the economic results of the business system in this territory at the end of the second quarter of this year.

To date, about twenty companies with losses due to low levels of productivity and underutilization of available potential have been reported in the province.

Such losses are estimated at more than four hundred million pesos, also due to resource limitations and insufficient integration with the new economic actors and the productive chain.

Liván Izquierdo Alonso, Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party, stressed that the implementation of the forty-three measures constitutes the ideological basis of the leading role of the communist militancy to reverse such economic losses.
