"Cultural heritage in troubled times. 50 years of the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage" is the title of the international postgraduate course that, from November 21 to 25, is taught at the Máximo Gómez Báez University from Ciego de Ávila.

The face-to-face course includes conferences, workshops, debates and exchanges of experiences on management protocols for the conservation of world heritage cities, current legislation and requirements for its safeguarding.

Lucía Quintana Moreno, a specialist from the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences of the house of higher studies, will present the cultural product El Trochado as a result of the research and conservation management promoted by the university based on socioeconomic development.

The International Postgraduate in Heritage that is taught at the Máximo Gómez Báez University in Ciego de Ávila includes the participation of prominent Spanish professors, experts in agricultural, historical and world heritage from UNESCO.
