With the General Festival of Art Amateurs of the Máximo Gómez Báez University, Ciego de Ávila ended such an important event at the level of Higher Education centers in its twenty-sixth edition.

The gold winners will go to the provincial amateur festival of the Federation of University Students (FEU), a cultural tournament that celebrates this year's centenary of that organization in the country.

Kevin Marcos Delgado Álvarez, President of the FEU in the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences of the house of high studies, specified that at the university level the student body of Pedagogical Sciences obtained first place; in second, Social Sciences and the third, Technical Sciences.

Although all the artistic manifestations have had a wide representation, the performing arts stand out due to the massive attendance and the quality of the proposals, presented for the first time in the House of the Young Creator of the Hermanos Saíz Association.
