    Conservation of world heritage cities is managed in Ciego de Ávila

    This Tuesday, the second day of the International Heritage Diploma that is taught at the Máximo Gómez Báez University in Ciego de Ávila will be dedicated to the conservation and management of world heritage cities.

    The first conference will deal with the world heritage city Baeza-Úbeda in Spain, while the second focuses attention on the draft of Cuban legislation on cultural and natural heritage.

    The City Historian, Ángel Cabrera Sánchez, will also give a talk on the origins of Ciego de Ávila, which will end with the mural that evokes this event in the central corner of Libertad to Marcial Gómez Streets, at the entrance to La Canchánchara bar.

    The International Heritage Diploma Course of the Máximo Gómez Báez University of Ciego de Ávila includes a tour led by the Coronel Simón Reyes Hernández Provincial History Museum in the afternoon.
