The provincial act for Latin American Medicine Day, headed by the main political and government authorities, was held this Saturday morning at the University of Medical Sciences of Ciego de Ávila.

The occasion was propitious for the delivery of recognitions and seals, as well as the Piti Fajardo medal, among other distinctions that honor doctors, nurses, laboratory workers, technicians and other staffs in the Health sector.

The call to the II National Conference of the Union of Health Workers is one of the main motivations for this event in Ciego de Ávila, including the Latir Avileño and Esfuerzo Decisivo campaigns on the eve of the 64th anniversary of the Revolution.
