The Ciego de Ávila Electric Company reports that yesterday, Monday, the deficit in generation availability had a maximum of 30 megawatts (MW). The maximum demand in the province occurred at 6:20 p.m. with 117 MW, while the average affectation per circuit was 57 minutes.

For the present day, a maximum deficit of 30 MW is expected during the night peak hours.

Yesterday, Monday, the service in the national territory was affected from 3:52 p.m. to 7:51 p.m., which was restored to the service in the National Electroenergetic System (SEN) due to a deficit in generation capacity.

The maximum impact at night was 536 MW at 6:20 p.m., coinciding with the peak hour. It is estimated that today's daytime hours will not affect the service due to capacity deficit in the SEN.

Units 5, 6 and 7 of the Mariel CTE, the Talla Piedra CTE, unit 3 of the Santa Cruz CTE, unit 4 of the Nuevitas CTE and unit 2 of the Felton CTE are out of service due to breakdowns. Units 3 and 6 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

Technological limitations are maintained in the thermal generation blocks in operation (449 MW). In distributed generation, 871 MW are unavailable due to failure and 677 MW are under maintenance.For peak hours, the entry of 233 MW in diesel engines is estimated.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,533 MW and a maximum demand of 2,900 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 367 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 437 MW is forecast during this time.
