The Council of State agreed to convene the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power, in its IX Legislature, on December 14 at 3:00 p.m., at the Convention Palace, on the occasion of the Eighteenth Anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP by its Spanish initials).

During the extraordinary session held this Sunday, headed by its President Esteban Lazo and with the participation of Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, this decision was adopted in accordance with the provisions of article 122, subparagraph d), of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, and in Law no. 131 «Law of Organization and Functioning of the National Assembly of Popular Power and the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba».

The members of the Council of State also analyzed the bill of the State Budget for 2023, prior to its presentation and examination by the deputies in the Tenth Ordinary Period of Sessions of the Cuban Parliament.
