Achieving the active participation of the workers in the conformation of the economic plan, constitutes one of the priorities of the Cuban Worker Union (CTC) in Ciego de Ávila, in homage to the 84th anniversary of its constitution that will be commemorated on January 28th, date on which the union movement will also celebrate the 170th anniversary of the birth of José Martí.

In commemoration of both events, the CTC will carry out several activities that will have as a priority the assemblies in each work center for the presentation of the economic and budgetary plans corresponding to 2023.

In these meetings, the vital functioning of the union sections aimed at controlling the execution of financing will be of special interest in order to continue improving working conditions in healthy and safe work environments, with the vision that human resources are the most important in production of goods and services.

In the affiliate assemblies, during the first months of this year, emphasis will be placed on other priorities of the economy plan, such as the application of innovations, the optimal use of raw materials, import substitution, the increase in exports, raising labor productivity and efficiency.
