185 MW is the forecast of affectation in peak hours for this January 6 in the country, as announced in an informative note by the Electric Power Company.

It is estimated that during the daytime the service will not be affected due to capacity deficit in the SEN.

Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Mariel, unit 4 of the CTE Cienfuegos, units 4 and 5 of the CTE Nuevitas, unit 2 of the CTE Felton and unit 3 of the CTE Renté are out of service due to a breakdown.

Unit 8 of the CTE Mariel, unit 1 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit 6 of the CTE Nuevitas and unit 4 of the CTE Renté are under maintenance.

The limitations on thermal generation are maintained 284 MW), in distributed generation, 888 MW are unavailable due to failure and 397 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of unit 2 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 30 MW, the completion of the combined cycle of Energas Boca de Jaruco (30 MW) and the entry of 325 MW in diesel engines are estimated.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,585 MW and a maximum demand of 2,700 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 115 MW.
