The Kompetenzzentrum Obstbau-Bodensee (KOB) Agricultural Research Center sent an important donation to the Center for Bioplants in Ciego de Ávila.

The KOB, located in Ravensburg, Germany, sent equipment for meteorological and environmental measurements, necessary in the different processes of agro-science studies, to the Ciego de Avila institution.

In addition, they delivered materials and reagents for the development of biotechnological research, useful in the field of in-vitro culture and natural products extracted from plants.

Dr. Manfred Büchele, director of the KOB, is the promoter of this donation and others made previously.

There is a close collaboration between the KOB institution and the Center for Bioplants, which includes the participation of researchers from Ciego de Avila in studies carried out in laboratories of the German scientific institution.
