This Friday, Electrical Power Company forecasts damages of 150MW during the day and 212MW during the night peak

Yesterday, the Electrical Power Company reported that the service was affected from 10:54 a.m. to 12:14 p.m., with a maximum of 79 MW, due to high transfers to the central-eastern area that caused low tensions in that region.

During peak hours, the service was affected due to capacity deficit from 4:22 p.m. to 8:17 p.m. (03:55 minutes).

The maximum impact at night was 351 MW at 6:30 p.m., coinciding with peak hour. The affectation was greater in the eastern zone due to high power transfers to that region.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,160 MW and the demand is 1,950 MW, with the entire system with service. It is estimated that during the daytime the service will be affected by high transfers to the central-eastern zone with a maximum of 150MW.

Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Mariel, unit 4 of the CTE Nuevitas, unit 2 of the CTE Felton and units 3 and 5 of the CTE Renté are out of service due to a breakdown. Unit 8 of the CTE Mariel, unit 2 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit 6 of the CTE Nuevitas and units 4 and 6 of the CTE Renté are under maintenance.

The limitations on thermal generation (305 MW) are maintained. In distributed generation, 809 MW are unavailable due to failure and 378 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of unit 3 of the CTE Rente with 60 MW, unit 2 of Energas Boca de Jaruco 30 MW, the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 60 MW and the entry of 208 MW are estimated. MW in engines.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,638 MW and a maximum demand of 2,780 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 142 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an impact of 212 MW is forecast during this time.
