School year in Higher Education begins in Ciego de Ávila

With 42 school weeks for the development of academic, labor and research teaching activities, the school year begins on February 6 at the Máximo Gómez Báez University in Ciego de Ávila.

Raidy Teidy Rojas Ángel Bello, teaching vice-rector of the house of higher studies in the province, explained that among the priorities of the school period is compliance with the basic curriculum of the careers, including the three calls for exams at the end of each stage.

The leader added that continuing students will join the coming February 20. For this year, the necessary material and human resources are guaranteed, as well as attendance at the Day Course as long as fuel conditions allow it.

The student residences of both campuses have supplies and lodging, destined to constitute a favorable educational space. In this new stage, the university students continue the “Educando con Amor” Task, who will teach Mathematics, Physics, History, Computer Science, English and Spanish, at the Basic Secondary, Pre-University and Professional Technical Education levels.
