A note published on its website points out that all of them had left the country illegally by sea and four were transferred to the investigative bodies for being alleged perpetrators of serious criminal acts, which were investigated prior to their departure.

This is the fourth operation by air from the Bahamas in 2023, with which there are 297 returnees from that country.
