Medicine supply is increased in pharmacies of Ciego de Ávila

In a simple observation, it can be seen that the pharmacies of Ciego de Ávila are generally crowded, with queues and turmoil, on Wednesdays and Thursdays of alternate fortnights, in which it is usual to receive orders for medicines that are dispensed through the control card.

After those days, the influx of people to those units decreases because it became common that the most demanded drugs are not available afterwards.

The Provincial Health Directorate calls on patients who consume high-demand medicines to ask, in person or by phone, about the possible existence of their indicated pharmaceutical product.

It happens that some control card medicines have reestablished their presence, not many, but some are arriving in sufficient quantities to remain on sale throughout the month.

The list of medicines that are in stock must be available to the interested parties in a visible way in each pharmacy in the territory.

Tablets, ampoules, sprays... for non-communicable chronic diseases, are the ones in greatest demand and some of these drugs exist in different pharmacies in the province, according to authorities from the Provincial Health Department.

Next week, more details of the medications that remain in existence will begin to be given because they stabilized their presence in the pharmaceutical network of Ciego de Ávila.
