Electrical Power Company does not forecast affectation for this Thursday

In its morning report, the Electrical Power Company informed that yesterday the service was not affected due to a deficit in generation capacity.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,500 MW and the demand is 1,940 MW, with the entire system with service.

Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Mariel, unit 4 of the CTE Nuevitas and unit 2 of the CTE Felton are out of service due to a breakdown. Unit 1 of the CTE Felton and units 4 and 6 of the CTE Renté are under maintenance.

Limitations on thermal generation (344 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 811 MW are unavailable due to failure and 441 MW are under maintenance.

For peak hours, the completion of unit 6 of Energas Boca de Jaruco with 30 MW is estimated, the entry of unit 4 of Energas Varadero with 20 MW and the entry of 264 MW in diesel engines.

With this forecast, an availability of 2814 MW and a maximum demand of 2720 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a reserve of 94 MW, so that if the forecast conditions are maintained, no affectations to the service are forecast during this time.
