Judges and workers of the People's Provincial Court of Ciego de Ávila have reasons to continue encouraged throughout this 2023.

Moreover, it is not just because the national court system reaches its 50th anniversary, in December.

Having crowned, for example, 2022 with 92 percent of the judicial acts held on the first occasion, is a result that denotes the seriousness and organization with which one works, even in the midst of adversities such as those generated by transportation, instability with electric service and others.

It is encouraging - and it is not by chance - that potentially more than 55 percent of the force can exhibit scientific category, based on actions to overcome for which the Court spares no time or space.

The link with students who are trained as technical experts in Law and with young people, who are studying for a degree at the University, becomes an increasingly solid experience.

"After an intense stage, with several laws approved and already in force, 2023 is very important for our Court," Humberto David says.

Humberto David González Figueroa, President of the Ciego de Ávila`s Court, recently highlighted, in dialogue with the press, how out of seven university graduates, five come from the project promoted by the judicial institution with young people from Higher Education in the specialty.

It is also worth pointing out the scope of the experience of the Open Door Court, which contributes to increasing legal knowledge among children, adolescents, and young people (basically) and helps to form a culture in this field.

It also encourages how the institution adjusts its belts to make an increasingly efficient use of the budget and, along with other needs or destinations, progressively improve working conditions both at the provincial headquarters and in the municipalities with the most difficulties, promote a more attractive image, offer the service that the population deserves and ensure high quality processes.

It is obvious that all of this will be reasoned on this February 21st, when directors, judges and workers carry out their annual balance in the Aula Magana of the Máximo Gómez Báez University of Ciego de Ávila, not to please themselves or “glow up” but to examine what has been done and project even better what to do from now on.
