The provincial act in Ciego de Ávila for the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) will go down in history as one of the most colorful of all that have been organized in this territory. Some data confirm it.

The venue for this celebration of the sports movement in Ciego de Ávila was the Giraldo Córdova Cardín room and that it received what some describe as the largest turnout in the facility. It was like an emulation of the spectacle that the Buffalos of Avila basketball have offered for two decades.

In addition, because the anniversary occurs at a time when the local sport is immersed in multiple commitments, from the national hockey and basketball competitions, to the preparations for the upcoming openings of the baseball and soccer championships.

The truth is that the political-cultural evening served to stimulate several of the founders of the sports organization and, also, those who have worked in this sector for more than 20 years, so the occasion was propitious to deliver the Rafael María de Mendive order to various workers for meritorious conduct.

The sports entity also signed several work contracts with organizations in the province and these, at the same time, delivered presents to the INDER executives for their 62nd anniversary.
