In a meeting with the political cadres of the main municipality, the assurance actions were verified with a view to the elections for deputies of the National Assembly of Popular Power on March 26.

At the meeting, Osvaldo Álvarez Díaz, president of the municipal electoral commission, learned that there are still a group of organizational problems related to the reprocessing of voter lists, on the way to being resolved before March 12, when a exceptional dynamic test in the province.

Álvarez Díaz said that they plan to open the polling stations before 6 in the morning so that everything is ready at opening time. In addition, the 73 special schools of the municipality have already been evaluated and trained the members of their tables.

The space chaired by Liván Izquierdo Alonso, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, and Tomás Alexis Martín Venegas, Governor of the territory, served for the representatives and sponsors of the popular councils of the demarcation to present the schedule of activities carried out with the neighbors.

Likewise, young people from the municipality's pre-university schools approached state institutions and the community to learn more about the electoral process and its nominees, since many reach the age of 16 necessary to exercise their right to vote.
