    That is why the visit made this Thursday to the Ciego de Ávila sports movement by the candidates for deputies for the Ciego de Ávila municipality, Liván Izquierdo Alonso, maximum political leader in the territory, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba and Yorkis Navarro Pérez, mayor of the Ciego de Ávila municipality, a meeting that took place in the outdoor area of ​​the José Ramón Cepero stadium.

    The representatives of the more than 3,000 workers in this sector that, according to Perdomo Di-Lella, is one of the most humble and hard-working in Ciego de Ávila, were there; something that was demonstrated in the urgent tasks that brought about the confrontation with the Covid.

    The candidate for the municipality of the provincial capital expressed that this type of exchange not only helps the people to meet their possible representatives in the Government, but also for them to soak up the work of the localities.

    Izquierdo Alonso, a member of the Central Committee, assured that Sunday, March 26, it will be a resounding success for the unity of the Cubans and said that in the sports sphere, the people of Ciego de Ávila have a force to look to the future with optimism.

    On behalf of all the workers, Leonardo Rodríguez Sánchez, provincial director of sports, said that there are many tasks that the representatives of this sector are carrying out these days in the electoral process and that there is no doubt that they will bring the task to a successful conclusion.
