Tigres ya tienen su bandera para 62 SNB

Early in the morning of this Wednesday, March 23, in the José Martí Park in the provincial capital, Team Tigers, from Ciego de Ávila, received the flag that they will hoist in the upcoming 62nd National Baseball Series (SNB).

Olympic champion Danny Miranda was in charge of delivering the banner to Liván Izquierdo Alonso, a member of the Central Committee and top political leader in the province, who together with the governor of the territory Tomás Alexis Martín deposited the emblem in the hands of the athletes Raúl González, Vladimir García and Abdel Civil, major players of the team's three titles in these contests.

In charge of the captain Yorbis Borroto was the reading of the oath of the athletes in which he stressed the support that the group has had since they began the preparation in the first days of January.

Naylin Machado Ávila, first secretary of the Union of Young Communists in the province, in the summary words of the act, urged the team to reissue the triumphs that have brought so much glory to Ciego de Ávila.

On Wednesday, March 29, the team will debut at the Latin-American stadium against Industriales and after those five initial matches, they will move to the Augusto César Sandino stadium to face Villa Clara.
