With closing plenaries in its ten municipalities, Ciego de Ávila intensifies actions to guarantee a resounding democratic victory this Sunday, March 26, during the national elections of deputies to the Cuban Parliament in its X Legislature.

The basic part of the municipality of Ciego de Ávila for the voting this Sunday is 114 209 voters, who will exercise their right to vote for the sovereignty and security of the country.

The occasion was also propitious to lay the foundations of municipal development and project the strategy for the coming month of April in terms of food production and service provision.

Liván Izquierdo Alonso, Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Ciego de Ávila, warned that, as in the referendum on the Family Code, this central province will lead the country in the quality of such an important democratic exercise.

The strengthening of revolutionary vigilance stands out among the priorities of the people of Ciego de Ávila for the month of April, the date on which the Victory of Girón is celebrated on its 62nd anniversary.
