With voluntary work in the potato harvest in the municipality of Primero de Enero, the productive days for International Workers' Day began this Sunday in Ciego de Ávila.

The municipality of Primero de Enero stands out in union emulation for the efficiency and profitability of the Arnaldo Ramírez Agricultural Company.

Jorge Maceo Lorenzo, Director General of that entity, explained that this Sunday's call is equivalent to some two thousand sacks of potatoes whose destination will be the eastern provinces.

For 12 consecutive years, the Arnaldo Ramírez farm in Ciego de Ávila complies with its production plans without reporting losses, thanks to the implementation of sustainable agriculture based on organic fertilizers and biological means, among other alternatives.
