    The Electric Power Company reported that yesterday the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity from 09:26 a.m. to 00:21 a.m. today (14 hours and 55 minutes).

    The maximum impact at night was 528 MW, at 8:10 p.m., coinciding with peak time.

    The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2060 MW and the demand is 2010 MW, with the entire system with service. It is expected that the service will be affected due to a deficit in generation capacity starting at 10:00 a.m. with a maximum of 250 MW.

    Unit 8 of the CTE Mariel, unit 3 of the CTE Cienfuegos and unit 2 of the CTE Felton are out of service due to a breakdown. Unit 5 of the CTE Mariel, unit 3 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit of the CTE Guiteras, unit 4 of the CTE Cienfuegos, unit 6 of the CTE Diez de Octubre and units 4 and 6 of the CTE Renté.

    Limitations on thermal generation (261 MW) are maintained.

    In distributed generation, 926 MW are unavailable due to failure and 104 MW are under maintenance.

    For the peak, the entry of the Puerto Escondido unit with 20 MW and the recovery of 180 MW of distributed generation engines are estimated.

    With this forecast, an availability of 2,260 MW and a maximum demand of 2,800 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 540 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 610 MW is forecast during this time.
