Se mantendrán las afectaciones eléctricas durante todo el día, déficit de 471 MW en el pico nocturno

The Electric Power Company reports that yesterday the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity from 09:41 am to 02:42 am today (17 hours and 01 minutes).

The maximum impact at night was 420 MW, at 7:20 p.m.

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 2,074 MW and the demand is 2,130 MW, with 130 MW affected by capacity deficit in the SEN since 06:34 hours today.

Unit 8 of the CTE Mariel, unit 3 of the CTE Cienfuegos and unit 2 of the CTE Felton are out of service due to a breakdown. Unit 5 of the CTE Mariel, unit 3 of the CTE Santa Cruz, unit of the CTE Guiteras, unit 4 of the CTE Cienfuegos, unit 6 of the CTE Diez de Octubre and units 4 and 6 of the CTE Renté.

Limitations on thermal generation (269 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 924 MW are unavailable due to failure and 87 MW are under maintenance.

For the peak, the input of unit 8 of the Mariel CTE with 70 MW is estimated, the input of the Puerto Escondido unit with 20 MW, the completion of generation in the Patana de Regla with 30 MW and the recovery of 205 MW of distributed generation engines.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,399 MW and a maximum demand of 2,800 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 401 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 471 MW is forecast during this time.
