For the vast majority, perhaps the professional routine of our Courts is circumscribed to the set of tasks, procedures and activities that allow, from the field of Law, to do justice.

Moreover, indeed, this strategic purpose predominantly occupies the time of directors, judges and other workers in the system, from the People's Supreme Court to its structures in all the country's municipalities. It is very good, however, to know that not everything stops there.

In the midst of an indisputably turbulent or intense social and work environment, our judges take time out of their gowns to interact with, attend to, and motivate adolescents and young people who are studying Law, promote exchanges called open doors to increase legal knowledge and culture among the population (mainly young), close ranks with other institutions and organizations, organize voluntary blood donations...

Courts and society recognize those who voluntarily donate blood

This last experience has continued to gain vitality in all the municipalities of the province of Ciego de Ávila, with the participation of citizens who for various reasons are complying or have complied with some sanction and are willing to donate their blood to save human lives.

I don't know if the same will happen in other countries. Here it becomes an expression of the way in which a person can progressively and usefully insert himself into society, after having made mistakes.

Life, in short, continues to be defended at court level not only from a legal point of view, but also from a human, health point of view. And that deserves to be known and taken into account.
