As part of the new measures for the revitalization of internal trade in Cuba, the operation of the Gran Ferretero S.A. Mixed Company is expected to start this year, to install a hardware store that satisfies the demands of the national market.

According to information from the Granma newspaper, this is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Domestic Trade (Mincin), which is taking the necessary steps to start the operations of this entity.

The establishment of Gran Ferretero S.A. would be intended for the sale of articles and would have a wide nomenclature of products, the text refers to.

In addition, he adds, the contract of Faibus International Economic Association S.A. has been approved, for the online marketing of food, personal and household hygiene products, with the start of operations scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.

As a result of the implementation of the new measures to encourage the national economy and promote foreign investment, 52 business interests from 18 countries have been received.

Of them, six are in progress, five with the possibility of concretion and three in the exploratory phase and the rest have not made concrete proposals, or have been linked to other organizations, according to the Mincin.
