Regarding the proletarian celebrations for this May Day, all the unions and bureaus of the cities of Morón and Ciego de Ávila held municipal plenary sessions of the Workers Union of Cuba.

The massive participation, the color and the multiple initiatives characterized these calls, during which the workers reaffirm their desire to celebrate the World Day of the Proletariat.

In the same way, the march of the First of May flag continues, a banner that will travel to 95 entities throughout the province.

Alexis Lázaro Veloso Bérmudez, General Secretary of the Provincial Bureau of the Hotel and Tourism Union in Ciego de Ávila, reported that both the Hotel Rueda collective and those of Emprestur and ITH received the symbolic flag, who must deliver it to the workers of Acopio.

The May 1st flag recognizes vanguard collectives for their social, economic and productive results, while the proletarian day is dedicated to the natives of José Martí on his 170th anniversary and to the 95th anniversary of Ernesto Che Guevara.
