For the second time, the Saíz Brothers Association in Ciego de Ávila hosts at its headquarters the Meeting of Poets in Cuba: The island in verses in its tenth edition, with the participation of a dozen bards from Cuba, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal and Pakistan.

Such a prestigious international poetry festival is the only traveling space of the Romerías de Mayo, which will take place in the province of Holguín from April 2nd to 8th.

A large representation of musicians, writers, poets and theater artists will meet at this festivity, including the children's audiovisual project Ananá, from the José Sirio Inda Hernández House of Culture.

The extension of the Meeting of Poets in Cuba: The Island in Verses at the Café Barquito of the Young Creator House in Ciego de Ávila also made it possible to present the book Memories of an Island, dedicated to the third edition of The Island in Verses.
