Regresa por sus fueros proyecto Corazón en Ciego de Ávila

With the hope of contributing to the emotional and physical relief of girls and boys, through art therapy, the Corazón project was relaunched in Ciego de Ávila, aimed at working with children without family protection.

This was revealed at the press conference organized by the project managers, a team led by the cultural manager Lupe Díaz Beracierto ―also owner of the company that produces artistic shows LatinLuLi'sProductions― and which is sponsored by the Provincial Directorate of Culture, the Provincial Committee of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and the Council of Performing Arts.

During the relaunch, whose next activity will be a party for children in greeting to International Children's Day, psychologist Nathaly Dueñas López, project advisor, explained that given the characteristics of the target audience, the actions would be aimed at rescuing the effect healer of the arts and socialization in spaces of collective creation.

Sorania Dobao Alderete, director of Basic Education in the General Directorate of Education, alleged that currently in the province there are two homes for minors without family protection, one for children from zero to six years old, and another for those older than six years and up to 18. In total, the enrollment is six minors, to whom the State guarantees their development in healthy and affective environments.

Corazón had been founded in 2005 by Lupe Díaz Beracierto, but it was on hiatus after its main promoter temporarily resided outside the province. Now, "we return with all our might and we invite those who wish to join voluntarily, without profit, for a selfless and healing art," she commented.
