The Community Projection Strategy has strengthened the extension activity from the curricular and extracurricular, with sustainable actions. The existence of 10 community extension projects that socialize from the main training centers, with active participation of students and teachers is highlighted. In addition, a set of actions carried out during the recovery stage due to the passage of Hurricane Irma in the Punta Alegre and Júcarotowns, which the student leagues work together. In the area of the Educative work and University Extension, the Awards obtained at the XXIII National Festival of Amateur Artists of the student league are also highlighted, with the obtaining of the First Place in the student league competition, 6 Gold Medals, 2 Special Awards granted by the National Center of Houses of Culture, the Prize for the Best Dancer of the Festival and the Medal awarded by the Latin American and Caribbean organization, awards received by the Artistic Ensemble "Anacaona", the Theater Group "Anafilaxia" and 4 writers, awards that have made us creditors of the headquarters of the XXIV National Festival, to be held from November 12th to November 17th , 2018.
