    Morón's citizens motivated by jobs in the state sector

    Moronenses motivados por empleos en el sector estatal

    The acceptance of more than 320 job offers made by the Municipal Directorate of Labor and Social Security (DMTSS by its Spanish initials) and the stability in the completion of the workforce of various entities, refer to the motivation of Morón's citizens to be linked to productive work in the state sector from the implementation of the Ordering Task.

    Yainet Martín Otero, Deputy Director of Employment, Training and Development at the DMTSS in Morón, highlighted that there has been regularity in the daily attendance of people in search of job offers, accounting for more than 670, from January 4 to date.

    The majority of jobs has been offered for watchmen, cleaning and service assistants, stretcher bearers; agricultural workers, maintenance employees, vectors, biscuit makers, firemen; nursing and patient assistants, boiler operators, control technicians, bakers, security and protection agents, and auditors.

    The proposals correspond to the education level of the applicants and the needs of the territory, where the filling of vacancies in the General Teaching Hospital Roberto Rodríguez and other Public Health institutions is prioritized, including isolation centers for patient care with suspicions of suffering from the new coronavirus.

    "As part of the supplementary staff by Covid-19, it has been assigned jobs as stretcher bearers, messengers and cleaning assistants in the Red Zone of the Morón's hospital," Martín Otero said.

    The DMTSS official pointed out that people linked to these tasks will receive a minimum wage of 2,810.00 pesos in national currency.

    Citizens with a middle school degree who have good social behavior, may enroll in courses of Public Order Agent, Special Brigade and Criminal Educator, the last two ones to work in Havana and Ciego de Ávila, after graduating from courses that will be taught for a period of six months at the Ministry of the Interior's Teaching Center Juan Antonio Márquez Fraga, located in Ciego de Ávila's territory.

    Those who meet the requirements established by the institution and have completed the studies corresponding to the Upper Middle Level (12th grade), also have the possibility of entering courses of Criminal Investigator and Operations Officer, that will be developed in the military school itself for 11 months.

    The Deputy Director of Employment, Training and Development at the DMTSS in Morón added that offers to unemployed and disconnected workers are maintained in complex epidemiological circumstances.
