Presentation of the entity
The Provincial Company of Food Industry of Ciego de Ávila was created by the resolution 413, on July 14, 1989, of the Minister of Economy and Planning. It is located at José Agramonte Street in Ciego de Ávila; it is administratively subordinated to the Provincial Administration Council, which was authorized to apply the Direction and Management System on May 17, 2005 by the agreement 413 of the Executive Committee of the Council of Ministers.
Mission
Produce, distribute and commercialize food products, aimed at completing the basic basket of the population, social consumption and the market in foreign, with high quality standards to satisfy the most important demands of our customers.

Social object
The Company has approved through Resolution 603 of 2014, dated August 18, 2014 the modification of the Ministry of Economy and Planning the social object defined as fundamental activity:
- Produce and commercialize food products, beverages, liqueurs, wines and vinegar. Likewise, by means of Resolution 134, dated April 30, 2013 issued by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the secondary activities derived from the social and possible object are defined as follows:
- Commercialize the raw materials and consumables of the activity, within the food industry system according to authorized distributions.
- Provide maintenance and repair services of equipments for bread – making and baking in national currency, within the food system and to third parties.
- Produce and commercialize wholesale pieces, supplies and equipment for bread – making, in national currency, within the system and entities from temporary surpluses of installed equipments, without making new investments.
- Provide recreational and gastronomic services associated with these, food system workers and third parties (they are made through service contracts).
- Provide rent services for eventual premises available.
- Provide oven-roasting services to the population and organizations (it will be done depending on the availability of fuel assigned to the company).
- Provide dining and cafeteria services to the entity's workers.
- Provide parking services (they are made by contract and onerously).
Work objectives for the year 2019
- Objective 1. Get a correct composition and preparedness of professional leaders and professional reserves, which allows us to have in the short, medium and long term staff duly prepared to make out at any of the three levels of management that our company has, implicated and identified with the shared, expected values and with the code of ethics of the Cuban state officials.
- Objective 2. Consolidate in the workers a positive attitude in the values declared by the organization, increasing the effectiveness and efficiency in the management of human capital, creating an adequate work environment, where everyone knows why and for what they work and enjoy working.
- Objective 3. Guarantee efficiency in the rational use of material, human and financial resources, ensuring compliance with economic and financial indicators.
- Objective 4. To execute in the Provincial Company in the year 2019 values of mercantile production far superior to planned.
- Objective 5. Achieve adequate insurance and distribution of all raw materials and finished products in all Base Business Units with the aim of achieving compliance with the proposed indicators, as well as the time provided to guarantee marketing it with the required quality with the objective of achieving the satisfaction of our clients.
- Objective 6. Capture and timely report the changes that occur both in the external and internal environment that may affect to achieve the proposed objectives.
